What changedCrypto Briefing adds fresh numbers to the existing report on Chinese cloud firms seeking long-term memory supply. It says an estimated 70–80% of Samsung and SK hynix’s 2027 production is already committed through existing agreements, while Samsung plans to allocate at least 70% of its memory output to such deals.
The article cites SemiAnalysis estimates of around 5.3 GW of AI data-centre capacity for ByteDance, 3.9 GW for Alibaba and 2.4 GW for Tencent. Those are figures for planned capacity, not proof that it is all built or operating.
Crypto Briefing also says the three firms recently placed combined orders exceeding $35 billion for Nvidia GPUs. The added figures show the supply contest spans both processors and the memory they need, though they remain claims reported by that outlet.
