What changedAnduril says its BlueChip laptops will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Series processor, with orders expected to open in 2027. The company says functional prototypes are already running and that US and allied suppliers account for 90% of component procurement cost so far.
That percentage is not a fully domestic supply chain: Anduril says it aims to reach one in phases, as it rebuilds sourcing and manufacturing for components that are still largely made overseas. The company says a comparable laptop could cost 20% more, a notable premium for its intended government, defence, first-responder and public-safety customers.
The new details give the announced partnership a clearer technical and commercial shape, while leaving plenty unresolved.
