What changedBloomberg reports that the S&P 500 Healthcare Index has risen about 23% from the end of April through Monday’s close, outperforming the broader market and every other sector. Healthcare exchange-traded funds also drew about $4 billion over the 65 days to 19 October, while technology funds saw $6 billion in outflows, according to data compiled by Baird Strategas.

The report also points to healthcare earnings and expectations for 2027, alongside investors seeking sectors seen as less exposed to political and regulatory changes.
