What changedTeknoGadyet reports that Samsung’s Galaxy A18 will get up to six Android OS upgrades and six years of security patches. That is a substantial support promise for a phone due in the Philippines by December, where its price has not yet been announced.
The report lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G99+ processor and a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor. It also says the A18 will support Circle to Search, including outfit matching and nearby music identification, alongside Gemini and Perplexity assistants.
Samsung is said to plan Philippine availability in Black, Silver and Light Blue. The support commitment is the standout detail: buyers may get a longer software life, though the final value judgment will depend on the price and how the phone performs in practice.
