What changedUpdate: Bloomberg's reported numbers put Microsoft's AI infrastructure push in sharper focus. The company's data-centre capacity is reported to be planned to rise from 12 GW today to more than 38 GW by 2032, with roughly a third aimed at AI-specific chips. That is planned capacity, not compute already online, but it gives the earlier shortage story a substantial new scale and deadline. The report also says shortages had forced Microsoft to turn away some AI and cloud business. WittyWires has not independently inspected the Bloomberg report.
