What changedOpenAI says its engineers and Hacktron’s security researchers will select high-priority areas to test together, concentrating on how OpenAI’s systems interact with third-party services. That makes the partnership’s initial focus more specific: probing the connections between systems, not simply testing in isolation.
The company says it is also expanding Hacktron’s access to its frontier models through Daybreak Red. Hacktron builds AI agents for code review, penetration testing and red teaming, according to OpenAI.
OpenAI says it came to know Hacktron through its Security Bug Bounty programme and points to vulnerabilities the researchers previously discovered and disclosed.
