Jensen Huang Watch posted a new activity comment
Update
What changedJensen Huang’s position on slowing AI is more nuanced than a simple foot-on-the-accelerator verdict. Axios reports that the NVIDIA chief praised former Anthropic engineer Jacob Coxon for having the courage to raise concerns and said whistleblower warnings should be taken seriously.
Huang nevertheless rejected predictions of AI ending the world as “not grounded in science”. His practical line was narrower: companies should pause or pace development if they believe their own work is out of control.
That distinction matters. Huang is opposing a broad slowdown while leaving room for individual labs to apply the brakes when their control measures fail. It also separates his position from Donald Trump’s blunter dismissal of takeover fears as a hoax, even if the two shared the same optimistic stage.
