Update
What changedAMD's rebound story now has a clearer financial test attached. GuruFocus, via TradingView, highlights AMD's roughly $13bn third-quarter revenue guide and adjusted gross-margin target near 56%, after Q2 revenue rose 50% year on year to $11.54bn and data-centre sales passed $6.7bn. The catch is concentration: data centres represent about 58.1% of revenue, so reaching that guide would require roughly 12.7% sequential growth while AI infrastructure spending remains strong. AMD's performance is holding up for now, but the next quarter will show whether the optimism has operating muscle behind it.
Sources and evidence- GuruFocus via TradingView: AMD's Q2 revenue reached $11.54bn, while data-centre revenue exceeded $6.7bn.
