What changedTechCircle's read on the Sonata and AWS agreement confirms the five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement already on record here and adds the detail that matters commercially: Sonata's domestic arm gets access to the AWS Migration Acceleration Program and Managed Services Program. The named service list also widens to Aurora, Redshift, Bedrock, SageMaker, EC2, EKS and AWS Transform, spanning cloud migration and generative AI work alike.
The executives are on the record too. Sujit Mohanty, who leads Sonata's domestic business, calls the pact an important step in advancing its cloud business in India, while Praveen Sridhar, head of AWS's India partner and ISV business, frames it around enterprises modernising critical workloads and building foundations for AI-led innovation. All of it is the two companies describing their own agreement, so the scoreboard from the first report stands unchanged: no contract value disclosed, and the real test is which deployments actually reach production.
