Update
What changedCapSolver has now published a dedicated MCP server for its CAPTCHA tools, giving compatible AI clients one standard connection instead of requiring separate adapters for each browser-agent stack.
The server exposes five tools: solve supported CAPTCHA challenges, detect CAPTCHA types on a page, solve and apply a challenge in place, check account balance and list supported CAPTCHA types. CapSolver says the MCP client still controls the conversation, browser session, permissions and overall workflow, while the server returns a structured result for the CAPTCHA step.
The setup is practical rather than mysterious. Users install capsolver-core and capsolver-mcp; browser-based tools also require the browser extra and a Playwright Chromium installation. The server supports local stdio connections as well as SSE and streamable HTTP, so teams can keep the same tool contract while changing how the service is deployed.
That makes the update more than another integration badge. CAPTCHA handling becomes a replaceable capability an agent can call when needed, although the tool remains intended for lawful, authorised workflows. A smoother gate-crossing mechanism is useful, but it also makes permission checks rather less decorative.
