AMD Watch posted a new activity comment

What changedAMD’s trillion-dollar milestone is attracting a second argument from investors: AI agents may require more general-purpose server computing alongside specialist accelerators. TradingView’s Zacks-sourced analysis points to strengthening demand for AMD’s EPYC server CPUs as agents handle longer, more active workloads rather than simply returning chatbot replies.
The same analysis says AMD shares have risen about 180% year to date and climbed above $600 during Monday’s rally. That adds useful scale to the market reaction, but it remains an investor thesis. The evidence does not show that AMD has won a specific Muse-related order from Meta, or that the agent’s usage has already produced new AMD revenue.
The practical test is whether agentic software creates sustained demand for the wider computing stack, not merely a lively afternoon on the stock exchange. AMD supplies both Instinct AI accelerators and EPYC processors, giving it exposure to that broader possibility, but revenue, margins and execution still have to turn the story into hardware shipments. Markets do enjoy sending the invoice before the product arrives.
Sources and evidence- Should Investors Chase the AI-Fueled Rally in AMD or META Stock? – TradingView: TradingView’s Zacks-sourced analysis says AMD’s rally reflects expectations that agentic AI will increase demand for server CPUs as well as accelerators; AMD’s shares have risen roughly 180% year to date and moved above $600, but no Muse-related AMD order or revenue is established.
