What changedTiger Global’s Cerebras position comes with a sharper portfolio signal than the original filing headline suggested. Crypto Briefing reports that Chase Coleman’s fund bought roughly three million shares at an average price of about $221, while trimming its Nvidia holding in the same quarter.
The report also says Tiger Global’s wider Cerebras position reached 3.496 million shares, or 9.99% of the company’s Class A stock. That sits just below the 10% threshold that brings additional SEC reporting requirements and short-swing profit rules, although the significance of the positioning is an interpretation, not an established motive.
Cerebras was valued at $23bn after its February Series H funding round, according to the report.
