What changedA hands-on Slate review found that Meta’s Muse struggled with a flight booking and added a calendar event at the wrong time. The experience adds a more consequential reality check to the agent’s rapid App Store rise: Muse can attempt useful digital errands, but the gap between attempting and completing them remains rather large.
The reviewer said Muse failed after encountering a flight-booking CAPTCHA, then lost access to the browser after roughly 30 minutes. A separate calendar test placed a 10am event two hours and 40 minutes in the past.
The review argues that Muse’s future depends not only on whether it can navigate websites, but on whether major services will let it do so. That makes reliability and access twin bottlenecks for consumer agents, with the occasional calendar appointment wandering into the wrong timezone for good measure.
