What changedMeta says its Muse AI agent will soon be reachable through its own email address, allowing people to communicate with the agent outside the main chat interface and assign it tasks by email.
The company also says Muse is gaining computer-use capabilities in its Mac app. That would let the agent operate software on a user’s behalf, moving it further from answering questions and closer to being a digital assistant with hands on the keyboard.
The announcement adds several new ways to hand work to Muse, but the available account does not establish when each feature will arrive, which controls users will have over email and computer actions, or how the video experience will work. That missing detail is rather important when the assistant is being invited into the inbox and onto the desktop.
Sources and evidence- Meta says users will be able to video chat with Muse, agents will get their own email addresses, and Muse will get computer use on Mac and smart glasses support (Jay Peters/The Ver: Meta says Muse agents will receive their own email addresses, Muse will gain computer use on Mac, and users will be able to video chat with the agent.
