What changedMeta is widening Muse beyond the phone, adding support for smart glasses, Mac computers, shopping services and a live digital avatar. The expansion matters because the agent is moving from answering prompts to operating across people’s devices, accounts and purchases.
TechCrunch reports that Muse will be able to work through Meta’s smart glasses by voice, helping with tasks such as guiding workouts, logging meals, booking appointments and identifying products. Meta says the glasses version should arrive in the coming months, but it has not given a firm release date.
The Mac version is intended to operate desktop applications while the user is away, and Meta is developing a dedicated email address so Muse can be added to email threads or receive forwarded messages.
Meta says more than 1,500 developers applied in less than a week to build connectors for the platform.
