Update
What changedMeta’s Muse Charm is due to go on sale by the holiday season, with the company describing it as a palm-sized, keychain-compatible device for accessing its Muse AI agent without a phone, computer or glasses. The new detail gives the previously announced product a clearer launch window and a more practical shape.
According to MacRumors, the Charm will have a small touchscreen and microphone for voice interaction, but no camera. That distinguishes it from earlier descriptions of Meta’s hardware push involving visual input, and suggests the device is intended to be a more limited voice-and-avatar companion rather than an always-watching camera assistant.
Meta also announced new Meta VR Glasses, a third-generation Ray-Ban smart-glasses refresh and an audio-only Ray-Ban model at its Connect event.
