What changedSea Group says it will become the first enterprise in Southeast Asia to adopt NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform, adding a substantial customer commitment to NVIDIA’s regional AI push. The companies have not said how large the deployment will be or when it will go live.
Speaking at NVIDIA AI Day Singapore, Sea senior director of partnerships and strategy Li Kuangli said the company is building a “full-stack AI” operation. Sea runs more than 150,000 servers and 25,000 GPUs across more than 40 data centres, and says its infrastructure carries over 1.1 exabytes of traffic each month.
The practical examples are already broad. Sea says AI handles more than 80% of Shopee customer queries without reducing customer satisfaction, while an internal tool checks delivery drivers’ fuel claims before human approval.
