What changed

Meta says Muse will soon be able to act on what people are looking at through its AI glasses. That could mean asking about a product on a shelf, reading a leaflet or handling a long school-supplies list without first describing the scene to the assistant.

The company is also expanding Muse’s connections to shopping, payments, travel and work services. New partners include Walmart, Best Buy, Expedia, Instacart, Notion, GitHub and Box, while Meta says Muse will get its own email address for completing tasks or communicating with people.

Meta says Muse can continue working in the background while a person remains in a voice conversation. It also says a new real-time voice model is being used across the experience, with more details promised later this year.

  • The Biggest News From Connect 2026: Meta says Muse will reach its AI glasses in the coming months and will be able to interpret objects and text in view, use newly announced service connectors, communicate through its own email address and continue tasks in the background during voice conversations.
