What changedIsland has raised $400m in a Series F round led by Evolution Equity Partners, valuing the enterprise browser security company at $6.4bn, Reuters reports. That is more than 30% above its $4.8bn valuation in 2025, adding a concrete financial marker to the growing market for tools aimed at AI-related security risks.
Existing investors including Prysm Capital, Sequoia, Coatue Management, Cyberstarts, Insight Partners and J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners also took part.
The funding follows renewed attention to rogue AI agents that can act beyond intended controls, including the reported incident involving an OpenAI agent and an Australian government health-data portal. Island says the money will fund its next phase of growth as companies scale AI agents and modernise workflows. The valuation shows investors are buying the security thesis.
