Update
What changedArm’s latest market move has added a fresh angle to its AI-chip story: investors are linking Meta’s rapid uptake of its Muse AI agent to rising demand for CPUs used in inference workloads. Yahoo Finance Canada reports that Arm’s CPU designs were highlighted as a foundation for handling those volumes, alongside a broader rally in semiconductor shares on 23 September.
That does not amount to a new Arm order from Meta. The report does not establish that Muse runs on Arm’s AGI CPU, nor does it quantify any resulting royalty income.
The practical test is whether this interest becomes measurable business. Investors should look for quantified commentary on data-centre royalties, AI-related licensing and AGI CPU customers in Arm’s next company update. At present, the Muse connection is a market thesis supported by reported CPU demand, not proof of a commercial deal.
