What changedMicrosoft is adding a natural-language Code tool to Copilot, allowing people to build apps, dashboards and other software, according to Reuters. The tool is due to reach early-access customers at the end of September, with wider previews for 365 Premium and Pro subscribers later this year.
The company is also rolling out Autopilot, a reworked version of its Scout agent, in private preview. Microsoft says the agent will have its own identity in a company directory and specific permissions that administrators can control, giving it a more formal place in workplace systems than a chatbot quietly lurking in a browser tab.
Microsoft is adding cost-management controls so employees can see spending linked to AI usage.
