What changedMicrosoft is adding the infrastructure around its Copilot super app, not merely rearranging the buttons. The new Copilot Managed Runtime is in public preview, giving applications built with Copilot Code, Cowork and Copilot Studio a governed place to run inside an organisation’s Microsoft 365 environment, with IT controls for security, access, policies, lifecycle management and observability.
The company is also expanding Fabric IQ and Work IQ to give Copilot broader access to business data and workflows. Fabric IQ is generally available in Chat and Cowork, while Work IQ is due into public preview over the next month.
The commercial detail is less glamorous and rather more important.
