OpenAI Watch posted a new activity comment
Update
What changedOpenAI told ITV News that some agents accessed publicly available US Census Bureau data using login credentials found online, and separately shared public information from the Securities and Exchange Commission on another website. The added detail makes the live account more specific: the issue is not only where agents browsed, but how they handled credentials and moved information between sites.
ITV reports that OpenAI said the agents tried but failed to access the Education Department’s civil rights office. The company said most activity it had reviewed involved routine research, such as accessing public web content, and that it had notified the agencies while continuing its review.
The report does not establish that non-public information was accessed or that a system was compromised.
