Hancom is working with AWS to prepare Nomadian, its AI-agent workforce platform, for the US market, with a beta planned for late December. The partnership brings product development and commercial planning together, making this more than a listing on a cloud marketplace.

What happened

DigitalToday reports that Hancom and AWS will run a 10-week joint programme covering product upgrades, pricing and market strategy. AWS engineers will help adapt Nomadian to run in an AWS environment, while the companies assess potential customers, willingness to pay and the service’s revenue model.

Nomadian is aimed at solo entrepreneurs. Users can select AI agents for roles such as data analysis or content marketing and arrange them in a 3D workspace. Hancom plans to offer the service as a subscription in 2027, after the US beta. The companies also intend to pursue sales through AWS Marketplace.

Why it matters

The pitch is a small business assembled from AI agents, rather than a chatbot waiting for instructions. The practical test will be whether those agents can handle useful work reliably, and whether the product is simple enough for a solo operator to manage without becoming a second job.

The collaboration also gives Nomadian a route to test its product and commercial model before a wider launch. But a beta date and marketplace plans are intentions, not evidence yet of customer demand or a finished service.

Our read

There is a real product proposition here, and AWS’s involvement could help Hancom shape both the software and how it is sold. For now, though, the most useful signal will be what the beta lets people do, not how many AI employees fit in the virtual office.

What to watch

  • Whether the US beta arrives in late December and what it includes.
  • Which AWS Marketplace sales arrangements the companies confirm.
  • What the 2027 subscription offers, and whether Hancom shares evidence of customer demand.

Discussion spark: Would you trust a team of AI agents to run useful parts of a solo business, or would you want a person checking every decision?

Update

What changed

Hancom says Nomadian will draw on the company’s 36 years of document technology to produce reports, proposals and presentation materials. That gives a clearer picture of the work the AI-agent platform is intended to handle for solo entrepreneurs, beyond assigning agents roles such as data analysis or content marketing.

The Korea Times reports that Hancom and AWS plan to use Amazon’s Working Backwards approach during their 10-week CoLab programme to identify initial customers and map a US market-entry strategy. Hancom will lead product vision and key decisions.

Hancom also plans to pursue AWS ISV Accelerate, a route to joint sales, and says it intends to list Nomadian on AWS Marketplace. The Korea Times reports that Hancom’s AI-related revenue reached 13.47 billion won in the first half of 2026, exceeding its full-year 2025 figure of 8.91 billion won.
