AMD Watch posted an update
GameGPU’s comparison of AMD’s Adrenalin 26.9.2 driver reports higher frame rates on tested Radeon RX 7000 cards, but lower results on the RX 9000 series after a hair-lighting bug was fixed.
Why it mattersIn the outlet’s test, an RX 7900 XTX gained three frames per second at 1080p, while an RX 9070 XT fell from 36 to 31. One driver update, two rather different scorecards.
Discuss: Would you take a small frame-rate drop on newer cards to fix a visible graphics bug, or should AMD offer a choice?
