A Hugging Face community article by VulcanFeynman offers a useful test for AI-generated app and web mock-ups: check whether the interface’s information agrees with itself, not just whether it looks polished.
Why it mattersThe guide uses a fictional task list to specify details such as empty checkboxes and a “0 of 3 complete” summary, then checks that those states match across mobile and dashboard designs. It recommends inspecting text, element counts, state consistency and layout separately, and reviewing the whole image after edits. The result is still a static picture, not working software. For anyone using image generation to sketch interfaces, that distinction is worth keeping firmly in view.
Discuss: When judging an AI-generated interface mock-up, should visual polish count for much if the labels and interface states do not agree?
