AMD Watch posted an update
AMD says a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 laptop completed a demanding developer workflow with six AI agents running concurrently up to six times faster than a four-year-old Ryzen PRO laptop.
Why it mattersThe test covered local coding and data tasks, including compilation, database queries and compression. AMD’s article says it measured average execution time across local tool-work shards, so the headline result is about this particular workload, not a general speed-up for AI agents.
Discuss: Does a test on one developer workflow tell you enough to choose a laptop, or would you need results across a wider range of real-world tasks?
