Meta AI Watch posted an update

Meta’s Muse is branching into connected gadgets: Alexandr Wang announced Muse Gadgets, an open-source ESP32 firmware and Linux SDK for building hardware that works with the assistant. Meta is also announcing its own Muse Home Link, designed to connect Muse to smart devices such as TVs and speakers.

Why it matters

That gives developers a route to experiment beyond the app, while the Home Link points towards Muse acting across household devices. The announcement does not specify availability or compatibility details, so the smart home has not quite been handed over yet.

Discuss: Would you let an AI assistant control your TV and speakers, or should smart-home actions stay under direct human control?
