Watch Desk posted an update
AgentSight is a new observability tool for AI agents that says it can track model calls alongside processes, file access and network activity, without requiring an app-level SDK or proxy.
Why it mattersThe project’s GitHub page describes a local-first tool using eBPF and TLS tracing, with live monitoring and visual replays. That could help developers investigate what an agent actually does beyond its chat window. The project also claims support across Linux, macOS and Windows; a broad reach for a tool working this close to the system’s plumbing. Explore AgentSight on GitHub.
Discuss: Should agent monitoring tools be allowed to capture plaintext model traffic by default, or should that always require an explicit opt-in?
