Instinct is launching group chats where friends can use its AI agent together, TechCrunch reports. The suggested uses include planning trips, organising carpools and coordinating events, even with friends who do not have an account.
Why it mattersThe company says personal accounts remain separate: an agent needs permission before sharing personal information or taking action. That could make group planning less fiddly, though the permission boundary will matter more than the novelty of adding another chat participant.
Discuss: Should an AI agent be allowed to act on personal information in a group chat only after everyone involved approves, or should its account owner have the final say?
