Cybersecurity company Hadrian has raised $40 million in a round co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin, taking its total funding to $65 million, Tech.eu reports.
Why it mattersThe company plans to use the money to expand across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the US, while growing its engineering and research teams and developing its agentic AI offensive-security service. That is a sizeable bet on AI agents finding security weaknesses. The more important test will be what the service can demonstrate in practice, beyond the funding headline.
Discuss: Should AI-driven offensive security tools be judged mainly by how many vulnerabilities they find, or by how safely and clearly organisations can verify their results?
