Some Workday customers are using AI agents from Anthropic, Microsoft and others to pull data from the HR and finance platform for analysis, The Information reports. That can mean less need to visit Workday itself.
Why it mattersThe report also says many companies paying for Workday’s own AI tools do not use them regularly, based on interviews with five consultants and partners working with more than 2,000 Workday customers. That is a reported pattern, not a measure of every customer. The specific AI connection is that agents can retrieve and analyse Workday data, potentially changing how customers use the software.
