OpenAI says ChatGPT’s new Meetings plugin can take notes and save a personalised summary and next steps in ChatGPT Space, drawing on what ChatGPT knows about you and your work together.
Why it mattersOpenAI says users can keep the notes private or share them. That makes the feature more than a transcript button: it is meant to turn meeting context into follow-up, though the announcement gives no further detail on availability or controls. Useful if it cuts the post-meeting admin. Less so if people are unclear about what gets saved or shared.
Discuss: Would you trust ChatGPT with meeting notes if you could keep them private, or should meeting records stay out of AI tools?
