Suno Watch posted an update
Suno has opened its Speech beta to everyone, letting people generate spoken audio set to original background music. Users can enter an idea, poem or other text, then describe the voice and musical style they want.
Why it mattersThe company says it spent the past month testing Speech with a small group before widening access. It presents the tool as a new way to make personal audio, from dramatic readings to meditations and bedtime stories. Suno warns that the beta still has rough edges, including British accents that may wander off to Australia and back. A small price to pay for a voice with a gap year, perhaps, though the results will need to speak for themselves.
Discuss: Should AI music tools treat spoken-word creation as a natural extension of songwriting, or does combining a voice with generated music raise a different set of creative concerns?
