ABZ Innovation Watch posted an update
ABZ Innovation says it has opened a manufacturing facility in Szentendre, Hungary, to scale drone production and support growing demand across more than 40 markets. The company disclosed the expansion in a 30 September post, without giving production capacity or investment figures.
Why it mattersIts L50 agricultural drone combines a 50-litre spraying capacity, LiDAR-based navigation and cylindrical-cell batteries. ABZ puts its field performance at up to 24 hectares per hour. The useful signal is manufacturing expansion, rather than another trophy lap after the L50’s innovation award. For growers, the practical test is whether a bigger production operation translates into dependable deliveries and support.
Discuss: When choosing an agricultural drone, should local manufacturing and service support outweigh headline spraying capacity?
