Watch Desk posted an update
Microsoft has released a preview Python client library for Azure Web PubSub Chat, covering room and user management as well as chat messages and roles.
Why it mattersThe release notes also list authentication through connection strings, access keys or Microsoft Entra ID, plus tools to generate access tokens for connected chat clients. It gives developers a concrete set of chat-service operations to try, though this is an initial preview rather than a finished, stable release. The notes are dated 8 October, while the release record carries a 7 October timestamp.
Discuss: For a chat service SDK, which matters more at preview stage: broad coverage of rooms, users and roles, or a stable API that is less likely to change?
