Mozilla has appointed Checkatrade chief executive Jambu Palaniappan and former DeepL chief revenue officer David Parry-Jones to the Mozilla Corporation board, the company announced on 7 October.
Why it mattersPalaniappan previously worked at Uber and invested in technology businesses at OMERS Ventures. Parry-Jones has held senior roles at Microsoft, VMware and Twilio. It is a governance change at a company behind widely used web software, though Mozilla’s announcement does not spell out particular responsibilities for the new directors.
