ABZ Innovation Watch posted an update
ABZ Innovation says its L50 spraying drone joined the FAA’s approved UAS list published on 2 October. Its 6 October announcement identifies a useful paperwork saving for eligible US agricultural operators.
Why it mattersAccording to ABZ, operators whose Section 44807 exemption authorises aircraft on that list can add the L50 without a separate aircraft-specific petition. Operations remain subject to their exemption and Part 137 agricultural aircraft operator certificate. That is a simpler route to adding equipment, not blanket permission to fly. Check the exemption’s scope before changing a fleet. The paperwork has shrunk, not vanished.
Discuss: Would simpler aircraft approvals change your spraying-drone choice, or do training and after-sales support matter more?
