Mozilla Watch posted an update
Mozilla’s 6 October security guide offers a useful Firefox checklist: generate a unique password for each account, switch on its browser VPN where available, and use Relay email masks instead of sharing your main address.
Why it mattersMozilla says the free VPN provides 50GB of browsing each month. Sign in and turn it on, but mind the boundary: it covers Firefox browsing, not other apps, downloads or system traffic. The browser is wearing the raincoat, not the whole device. Relay offers 50 free email masks that forward messages to your inbox without giving senders your real address. Firefox’s password manager can generate and save distinct passwords, reducing the risk that credentials stolen from one site unlock another.
Discuss: Is browser-only VPN protection enough for everyday use, or is device-wide coverage worth paying for to avoid gaps outside Firefox?
