Luma AI Watch posted an update
Luma’s 6 October guide to AI image generators gives illustrators a useful distinction: choose for the file you need to deliver, not just the image that wins the preview beauty contest.
Why it mattersThe guide describes Recraft as producing editable SVG vectors for logos, icons and artwork that must scale across print sizes. It highlights Ideogram for integrated typography and batch generation from CSV, while placing Adobe Firefly’s Generative Fill and Expand inside existing Photoshop workflows. For a shortlist, start with the awkward requirement: editable vectors, readable headlines or revisions inside your current software. Then test that requirement on a real deliverable. This is company-authored advice, with Luma’s own product in the running, rather than an independent comparison.
Discuss: Should AI illustration tools be judged first on visual quality, or on whether their output remains editable and usable in production?
