Best Buy has the original MSI Claw handheld on clearance for $562.99, down from $749.99, according to Tom’s Hardware. The deal gets you an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD.
Why it mattersThe Claw has a 7-inch, 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and its SSD can be replaced. Tom’s Hardware says it can manage around 30 frames per second in some demanding games, but the Meteor Lake chip draws more power than newer handheld processors. At this price, it may suit a buyer who wants a 1TB Windows gaming handheld without paying current top-tier prices. The trade-off is battery life, so keep a good USB-C charger handy.
Discuss: Would you take the cheaper handheld with shorter battery life, or pay more for a newer chip?
