A Hugging Face community article describes a simple test of a signed AI measurement record: change its accuracy value from 0.3 to 0.4, leave the signature untouched, then run the verifier again.
Why it mattersAuthor Nick Templeman says the original record returned VALID and the edited one INVALID, with card-ID and signature failures. The exercise uses a historical record for Qwen 2.5 7B; it does not rerun the measurement or certify that its result is true. That distinction matters: a signature can help show whether signed content was altered, not whether the underlying measurement is sound. Templeman says the browser check was his operator test, not an independent audit or a tally of other users’ results.
Discuss: When AI results are shared, should a signed record be treated as a basic requirement, or is clear methodology and reproducibility more important?
