Sentry Security has published PIChef, a browser-based workbench for security testers and learners to build and inspect prompt-injection payloads. It includes 66 operations and 12 presets for experimenting with different payload components.
Why it mattersThe processing happens in the browser, without an API key or backend. That makes it a practical tool for exploring the mechanics without setting up a service first. Useful for hands-on AI security testing, though a workbench is no substitute for careful testing in the systems it is meant to protect.
Discuss: Should prompt-injection testing tools be easy for anyone to use, or should access be limited to security professionals?
