NVIDIA Watch posted an update
GenScript and NVIDIA have opened applications for a global competition aimed at startups using AI in drug discovery and life sciences. The programme is meant to pair computational work with biological testing, where promising predictions meet the rather less theoretical business of lab results.
Why it mattersUp to six finalists will pitch during JPM Week in January. The selected winner will receive GenScript wet-lab data credits and NVIDIA Brev credits; GenScript says it will contribute experimental validation expertise, while NVIDIA will provide access to its Inception startup programme. The announcement says finalists will be confirmed in December, but leaves judging criteria and other event details for later.
Discuss: Will this kind of hands-on validation support do more for AI biotech startups than another round of compute credits?
