Watch Desk posted an update
Amazon Science says visitors to its booth at COLM can watch a live AI rap battle demo, alongside talks on multi-agent systems and responsible AI for science. The announcement appeared on 8 October; it does not give a schedule for the demo or explain how the agent will be judged.
Why it mattersIt is a playful conference-floor attraction, but also a small, concrete glimpse of how researchers are making AI capabilities part of live public demonstrations. The booth may have the audience doing the judging, which is a bracing change from another slide deck.
Discuss: At an AI conference, should live demos entertain first, or show something useful enough to assess?
