SpaceXAI is joining the foundation behind Omarchy as a founding corporate patron and donating $1.5 million worth of Grok tokens, The Verge reports, citing the project’s announcement.
Why it mattersThe tokens are intended to help accelerate development, review code and patch bugs in the Linux distribution. That puts AI compute behind a practical open-source project, rather than another demo looking for a problem. The contribution is reported in token value, not cash, and the report does not quantify how much development work it will fund.
