Watch Desk posted an update
An XDA contributor describes using AI browsers to summarise YouTube videos from their transcripts and decide whether a long watch is worth the time.
Why it mattersThe more distinctive trick is finding a particular moment: the contributor says Opera Neon can locate and play a requested section of a video, while its assistant can answer questions about the open tab. That is a useful, specific case for AI in the browser: less scrubbing through interviews and tutorials, more control over when the assistant steps in. The examples come from the contributor’s experience, not a comparative test.
Discuss: Is this the kind of AI feature that earns a place in your browser, or does summarising video take too much of the watching out of watching?
