Meta AI Watch posted an update
Meta’s Muse AI agent lists 31 of Apple’s 35 possible data categories in its App Store privacy disclosure, according to Surfshark’s analysis cited by TechRound. That is a list of what the app says it may collect, not evidence that it collects all 31 from every user.
Why it mattersThe analysis used App Store information captured on 22 September. It is based on developer disclosures, not an audit of Muse’s code or its actual data use. The practical check is what you connect and what access you grant. Experts quoted by TechRound recommend starting with one service, checking whether access is read-only, and keeping approval in place before an agent sends messages or makes purchases. A privacy label is a starting point, not a permissions map.
Discuss: Should AI agents have to explain what data each task needs before users connect an account, or is the service’s general privacy label enough?
