OpenAI Watch posted an update
OpenAI’s Python SDK v3.26.1 fixes an issue with custom voice creation parameters, according to the release notes published on 8 October.
Why it mattersDevelopers using that API have a targeted correction to check for when updating; the notes do not describe any other changes in this release. Not a grand unveiling, then, but sometimes the most useful line in a changelog is the one that lets a voice setup behave as intended.
Discuss: For developer tools, do small, targeted fixes deserve a changelog spotlight, or should release coverage focus on features that add something new?
