Azure’s App Configuration Python SDK 1.10.0 now detects the Microsoft Entra ID authentication audience from the endpoint hostname when no audience is configured. For teams working across sovereign clouds, that should make the default less fiddly.
Why it mattersAn explicitly configured audience still takes precedence, according to the release notes. A small change, then, but one with a clear practical point: the endpoint can supply the default without taking the choice away from teams that set it themselves.
